  This spot was in a convenient location, within 10-15 minutes of all of our activities we planned around town. The yard was ok except for the next door dogs barked a lot. The house was older but it was clear that the owners are trying to make improvements. The house needs a good deep cleaning. We loved Rapid City and will definitely be back to the area.

  We recently stayed at this property and while it has a lot of positives, there were also some drawbacks worth noting. The house itself was nice, comfortable, and in a good location, which made for a pleasant stay overall.

  That said, there were a few issues that really took away from the experience. Outside, there was a terrible smell, almost like something dead nearby, which made it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. There were also cobwebs everywhere, which gave the place an unkept feeling. The hot tub was especially disappointing—it wouldn’t heat above 99.5 degrees and the bubbles barely worked, so it wasn’t relaxing or enjoyable as we’d hoped. In addition, the grill hadn’t been cleaned, which made it unappealing to use.

  Overall, the property itself is nice, but it definitely needs more attention to upkeep and maintenance. With some improvements, it could be a great place to stay, but as it stands, it left us a bit underwhelmed.

The hot tub has since been tested and is heating to 104 degrees with fully functioning jets, and pest control has been completed as part of regular maintenance.   House has a lot of potential however I don't believe it is ready to be rented as there is a lot of unfinished work that could be potential safety hazards. The pull out bed was broken,unfinished drywall in upstairs closet that led straight into the attic and down stairs bedroom har a patch of open drywall cpvered by a pieceofplastic that fell off occasionally . Work was being done on the patch of grass my grandkids were going to play ball on. The kitchen was fully stocked which was nice and convenient. It was a fairly decent place to cook and sleep.

  From the owner: “There were some springs that fell off on the pull-out bed that we replaced. The plastic is a necessary access panel for plumbing, but it should not be coming down, so we will take additional steps to secure it. We apologize for the work being completed, but there was a broken water pipe that had to be repaired immediately, and the workers had not replanted the grass yet. It has since been replaced.”

  Good locatiob. Place was clean.. Need to upgrade the beds & fix the path to the entry door. AC worked great!
