Great condo but not on open ocean beach
4/5 The condo was really nice, very well stocked, super comfortable beds, clean and had all amenities you’d want. The local staff was wonderful and took care of all of our needs. We travel a lot and we notice all of the things you need or will need. This place has it. AC worked great, nice bathrooms, large kitchen with stainless steal appliances, all utensils, towels but only a couple of wash clothes per bath. You may want to bring extras if you need them. Description says you can walk to the beach but this complex sits on an inlet not open ocean. There is a huge sandbar about 200 yards out which breaks all waves. So if you want calm waves with no waves to play in, or to boogie board on this is not the beach you want. When the tide goes out you have to walk out about 600 yards just to get to the water through marshy muddy flats and rocks. It was not well for families with young kids who had to trudge through the mud just to get out to some water. Look the condo was great just not where it sat. The complex is a little dated but overall it was about a 7. Just understand if you are looking for open ocean waves to play in, a large soft sandy beach to build sand castles and to listen to the sound of waves crashing on the seashore go further south or north. This area is like a huge lake where the tide still comes in and out but mostly for beauty not to enjoy “beach play “ like I was used too .
