    Our daughter got married, so we rented the house for the wedding weekend. The place itself has so much potential. But there were issues that we were not informed of. First of all there were cars parked on the property, one being right in front of the garage. The property is on a steep hill and you have to go around the side to enter the home. There is no lighting and it gets quite dark at night and is hazardous. Kind of strange since there are security cameras all over which made us uncomfortable. There was a lot of food in the fridge, so we could not store much of our own. There were no drapes at all in one bedrooms. There were 2 pet fish left on the counter, yet no instructions on how to care for them. We contacted the agent and did not get an answer right away. The septic system has an awful smell when you run the water. The house smelled of rotten eggs from it. We LOVED this house based on the photos, yet wondered why there were no reviews about the issues. The house is for sale, I hope whoever purchases it gives it the love that it deserves. It is in a beautiful area.

    Lovely. Wonderful well equipped house. Very large house, complete kitchen with many extras. Was a treat to have a kitchen table and large dining room.Lots of towels and linens, bedrooms nice.Outside was spectacular. Charming front porch for 2, expansive screened in porch got a lot of use along with fire pit area. Space never ended outside, we didn’t even have much of a chance to use the large porch with tables and the far back screened room. We did use the kayaks (brought our own roof racks) on both lake and river. Thanks!
