The home was nice and comfortable, but.... We were delayed checking in as a door code was never emailed so we had to make several calls to finally get the information. The lighting was not great and we found ourselves dragging the floor lamp around the main room. The heat automatically lowered at night and left us confused and cold at first. On day three the house filled with the smell of gas and we discovered that there was no gas for cooking. That lasted over three days before it was finally resolved. The driveway had 13 inches of snow, so it was nerve wracking to drive in and out. The main roads in town were plowed and we would have gone out more if we had felt safe leaving the driveway! This was not the get away we had hoped for. We were cold and hungry for half of our stay! This is a second major opps for VRBO so I will not be using them in the future. They do not respond or take accountability when anything goes wrong.

Hi Becky, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
- Thank you for sharing your experience, and I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered during your stay.
- Upon receiving your call on March 6th regarding the gas odor and snow-covered driveway, I immediately took action to address the issues. I contacted the propane company for an emergency delivery, agreeing to a $300 service fee to ensure prompt delivery the following day. Despite our efforts, I understand the frustration caused by the delay in resolving the gas supply issue.
- Regarding the snow in the driveway, I regret any anxiety it may have caused. As soon as you brought it to my attention, I arranged for the driveway to be plowed promptly the next morning. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your stay.
- I understand your disappointment with the overall experience, especially considering the heating and gas supply issues. To compensate for the inconvenience caused by the propane outage, I offered to treat you to dinner at a restaurant of your choice, although I understand you did not accept this offer.
- Please know that guest comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we take all feedback seriously. We will use your experience to improve our services and prevent similar issues in the future.
- Once again, I apologize for the challenges you faced during your stay, and I appreciate your understanding and patience as we worked to resolve them. Should you reconsider staying with us in the future, I assure you that we will make every effort to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
Everything about this place was perfect:
Spacious
Well equipped
Clean
Excellent communication
Peaceful and quiet
Modern
Cozy
Felt like a home away from home.
The place has a huge garage, lovely fireplace, games etc.
Like most houses in Sunriver this house is surrounded by trees, making you feel you live in the middle of a forest although you are 5 mins away from major shops, restaurants and important intersections.
Definitely worth the stay!
Property was as described and host was easy and quick with communication. We were visiting family who live on the same street so this house was perfect for us. Close to the resort for fun activities too.

We really enjoyed our stay on this cabin. The place was very clean and comfortable. It was spacious and had enough space for our pets to roam around. The fenced backyard was great and provided enough space for our dog to run around.
The kitchen was very well equipped and we had no trouble finding what we needed to cook dinner/breakfast.
The location was also perfect, it was very close to the SunRiver stores and to the Mt Bachelor/Three Sisters area where we spent a lot of our time there.
We had only a minor confusion with the check-in process (miscommunication about the door code), but the host and Evolve were pretty quick to respond and get it sorted out.
I would definitely look for this property for our next trip to Bend.
From the owner: "Thank you very much for your review. Central Oregon is such a special place, and I’m glad you enjoyed your stay."
