  My husband and I were looking for a weekend away and searched for a place with a fireplace. All we wanted to do was curl up in front of a fire and read books and relax this weekend. When we arrived at the property, there was a small trap door under the house that was open, and there were cats running all over the property, living under the house & being fed. The back patio was dirty, there were bowls for cat food everywhere, everything smelled strongly of cat urine, and there was even a bag with hypodermic needles, sitting on the table…just open. When we reached out to the property owner, she said that they had been vaccinating the cats and just accidentally left them there. We had our cat-allergic 3 year old with us! No cats advertised anywhere. The interior of the cabin was straightened up, at best description that I could give it, but the entire interior of the cabin smelled so strongly of cat urine, because of all of the cats living all over the property. The laundry room had open bottles of laundry soap, there was dirty bedding, and toys sitting on top of the washing machine that also smelled strongly of cat pee.The hose to the showerhead was broken, so water sprayed every which direction when you turned the shower on. And there wasn’t even soap or anything inside the shower.The fireplace advertised? It wasn’t a fireplace. It was an electric plug-in heater under the tv. This remains hands-down, the absolute worst falsely advertised stay that we’ve ever had!

  Host was very welcoming. It could have been better stocked. There was no bar soap, shampoo, tissue paper. The photo showed a regular coffee maker but there was only k-cups. The electric fireplace didn’t work. The cabin was clean, and warm. The owner needs to check air valves in the hot tub. There might be a leak.

  We enjoyed it so much!! This was our second visit in 3 months. We will be back! Very peaceful and cozy little place!

  Outdoor pillows need replaced. Too dirty to sit on chairs, back deck couch. Internet working with Roku didn't work half of the time. Watching TV was "hit and miss". For example, halfway through watching a movie the internet would go out for about 20 minutes each time. The proximity to outdoor activities was prime at this location.
