  We loved Hummingbird House. Spacious, comfortable, clean, everything one needs for cooking, even a piano! Plus, great location, quiet neighborhood but very near amenities and central to ABQ's many offerings. Also appreciated is that no scented products or fragrances are used on the premises--it is just fresh and clean. We hope to stay there again, whenever we're in town.

• Hummingbird is heavenly!

  Hummingbird House was the perfect base for our trip. We had such a wonderful 2-week stay at this quiet adobe home. It felt both spacious and welcoming and it was ideal for our visit which combined work and exploring Albuquerque with so many wonderful things to do and great restaurants to eat at. The kitchen is fully equipped – almost like a chef set it up – which was terrific especially when we tried to make southwestern meals of our own. Plus, the hosts were super communicative and helpful as we were setting up our stay.

  The house has a soothing feel as you take in the beautiful Territorial design with adobe walls, soft colors and views of the Sandia Mountains. Every corner feels calm and full of character which makes it a wonderful place to relax after a day out. We are also big foodies and loved cooking in the kitchen which was so well appointed and had everything we needed.

  The location could not be better. In just a few minutes we could pick up groceries at Trader Joe’s or Target, grab coffee or swing by the outdoor mall with the Apple Store. When we wanted to get away from it all the mountains and hiking trails were only about fifteen minutes from the front door which made mornings and evenings especially lovely.

  The adobe house itself is storied and was designed by a noted architect with beautiful art and furniture throughout. Every room felt thoughtfully put together and full of character. It is a special place to be all day or to come back to at the end of the day and we would happily stay here again.
