    The house was clean and ready for us. Our pup felt at home even sitting on the back of the couch to look out the window. Kitchen was equipped enough for us. We were comfortable. This is not a complaint as much as a heads up: we are all 70 and getting in and out of chair, beds and tubs can be a challenge. I’m 5’3”And the couches and beds were only knee high. If you’re older you may need some assistance getting up. I did. Also the tub in the master bathroom is one of those with a locking door so it can be used as a tub or shower. No shower curtain so when showering water is splashing out into the bathroom. The door opens inwards making it a squeeze to get in and out. We loved the location and the puppy friendly backyard.

    We enjoyed our time at this property. The fenced-in backyard gave us flexibility to spend time outside, and our toddler loved reading the children's books in one of the guest rooms. While we had a great stay overall, it felt like the house wasn't quite ready when we arrived. The Welcome Book and internet instructions were missing, there were a couple of towels left in the washing machine, there was a partially used stick of butter wrapped in a paper towel in the fridge, one mirror had toothpaste flecks, etc. Lindsay was very helpful and responsive, but our first impression could have been more positive.

We’ve updated the listing so it no longer references a welcome book—guests now receive a website link with house details, WiFi info, and local recommendations before arrival. We’ve also labeled the WiFi info on the fridge so it’s easy to find. Condiments are left as a courtesy, and it looks like the butter was just an oversight. Really appreciate your comments—they help us keep improving.
