- This 2-story cabin offers step-free entry. While a bedroom and bathroom are located on the 1st floor, interior stairs are required to access the loft bedroom suite
- An exterior staircase off the deck and a private path with steps are required to access the lake. There is a moderately steep incline from the lake to the house which may be difficult for some guests
- Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is required due to the surrounding gravel roads
- The property does have cell phone service, but it may be spotty since the property is located in a forest area. Please check with your provider to confirm your service quality. WiFi calling through Starlink Internet and a cell phone booster are available at the property
- Personal boats or jet skis are allowed but must be launched at the Lake Apalachia Boat Ramp. Large trailers must be stored at one of the local marinas, and mooring equipment and bumpers must be supplied by the guest. Please reach out to the Guest Contact in advance of your stay if you plan to bring a boat or jet ski to make arrangements 
- There are no marinas on the lake. Please bring your own fuel

PROPERTY ADDRESS:
 - 269 Flint Hill Rd, Murphy, NC 28906
- There is limited cell service, especially for carriers other than AT&T. Service is often not available for the last 20-25 minutes of the drive. Please set up your GPS in town before you head to the cabin
- At the end of River Hill Road (by the River Hill cemetery) take the middle gravel road (Galax Point Ln) down to the gate to the property. Enter 4041 to enter the gate and then stay to the right. It turns into Flint Hill Rd. You will see multiple arrows directing you to 269 Flint Hill Rd

CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check in after 3:00 PM
- This property is located in a gated community. To access the community, enter the code 4041
- The home is accessible via keyless entry. The code is 4425
- The keypad is located at the front door
- Please inform the Guest Contact of any problems or concerns upon arrival, so we can work to address these immediately

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check out before 10:00 AM
- Prior to your departure, please tidy up the property by doing the following:
- Remove all perishable items
- Take out the trash and place it in an exterior trash bin in closed trash bags. Place a rock on top of the bin
- Load and start the dishwasher
- Leave all slept-in beds unmade
- Place all used towels on top of the washing machine
- Please be sure to promptly clean up and dispose of all pet waste
- Please set the thermostat to 75 degrees in the summer and 65 degrees in the winter
- Secure kayaks/paddleboard, paddles, & tubes to the dock
- Place life jackets in the box by the dock
- Place all outdoor pillows in the deck box on the patio
- Check that the gas grill is turned off
- Turn off all lights, electronics, and appliances
- Close and lock all windows and doors
- Additional fees will be imposed if the property is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it

HOUSE RULES:

- Trash pickup is on Tuesdays. Please bring cans out the night before, if applicable
- Guests are encouraged to pick up groceries in town before heading out to the house. The closest country grocery store is 30 minutes away

BOAT/LAKE INFO:
- Please reach out to the Guest Contact in advance of your stay if you plan to bring a boat or jet ski to make arrangements 
- Personal boats or jet skis are allowed but have to be launched at the Lake Apalachia Boat Ramp and the guest must supply mooring equipment and bumpers to prevent any damage to the boat or dock. Trailers may be stored at one of the local facilities for a fee and your Guest Contact can provide further details
- There are no marinas on the lake. Please bring your own fuel, and contact the Guest Contact if you have any questions
- Please do not drive on the path down to the lake, as the path is monitored by the United States Forestry Service
