Serenity at its Best
5/5 Our 8 day stay was wonderful eacape. The cabin was cozy, he neighborhood was quiet, very comfortable overral. The fire place in the living room kept us warm. The views were magnificent, at times feeling we were in the clouds.
Our host was great always in contact with us, making sure we were ok.
We will definitely be staying here at the Mountain Sky Escape again.
I miss it already!

A great mid winter visit.
5/5 I highly recommend this cabin and location next to Murphy, NC. Well decorated. Very nice furniture in the living room. The bed slept very well. Best of all, a wonderful view of the mountains close to the cabin. Close to restaurants, grocery store and some shopping. Within driving distance to Blue Ridge and Helen, GA. Christine is a wonderful host! She communicates well and makes sure everything is right and you're comfortable. Also a very large porch with a gate so you can let your dog roam around safely. Overall a very beautiful cabin.

5/5 I was searching for a mountain view cabin for a solo work retreat. My primary needs were great Wi-Fi, inspirational views, and a semi-remote site. This cabin was a perfect fit.
- The view is outstanding. Up to 4/5/6 Blue Ridge Mountain ridgelines in all directions, with mountain views of Georgia, Tennessee, and of course NC all from the cabin's deck.
- The cabin is stocked like your home. Equipment/items to cook, bake, or grill any meal. Tons of extra pillows and blankets. Laundry needs, board games...even a universal charging station. The cabin is set up with your best interests and needs taken into consideration. Many personal touches. Great communication, both before and during.
- It is very peaceful. So quiet. You can see the cars on the roads down in the valley, but you can't hear them. The entry road up the mountainside is fun and I even met about 20 Turkeys on my first trip back to town.
- Murphy is just a short drive. Supermarkets and Restaurants. The riverwalk downtown is a great walking/hiking area. I would suggest trips to Panther Top Fire tower and Brasstown Bald (highest point of GA)...both less than 1 hour from cabin.
- I'm sitting at my work desk as I type this review...sure with I was back at the cabin.
Beautiful place
5/5 Our host, Nancy, was fantastic! Communicated with me even months before our check in. The property was pristine and the views were fantastic. It was chilly when we were there so we used the fireplace nightly and it warms the cabin very nicely. The linens were soft and the towels were large and soft as well. We would highly recommend!!
