  • Lovely mountain getaway

    We booked this home last minute for a quick weekend getaway in the mountains with our family, and it turned out to be the perfect spot. The setting is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature, but there is still plenty to do for everyone.

    The house itself was so much fun. There were lots of board games, and the shuffleboard table and chess set in the game room kept everyone entertained. The ping pong table and darts in the garage were great too, and we especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after spending time around the fire pit in the evenings.

    The community has so much to offer as well. We went on a beautiful hike, spent some time at the community beach on Lake Lure, played mini golf, and enjoyed dinner at the lakefront restaurant.

    Overall it was a wonderful stay and exactly what we needed for a relaxing and fun family weekend. We would absolutely come back again!
