5/5 My family has stayed at Smallwood several times, and we declare it the best of the best places to stay in Highlands!
Besides being so warm and cozy, everything you could possibly need is there. Plus it is always immaculately clean. The location to Highlands is a plus.

A Little Piece of Heaven in Highlands!
5/5 My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Smallwood Cottage last weekend. Before our stay, we were contacted several times by the owner to make sure we had all of our questions answered and to let us know that they were available to help us if any problems occurred. Our stay was booked for two weeks after Hurricane Helene, and the property owners made a special trip to Highlands to make sure everything was in working order and ready for our visit. The cottage had plenty of towels and a well-equipped kitchen. The screened in porch was a wonderful place to sit and read or to take a nap on the large porch swing. Smallwood Cottage was a comfortable, happy place to stay in during a beautiful fall weekend. We look forward to a return visit someday!
