3/5 The duplex was in a great location, good amenities BUT the host was non existent until last day. The listing is managed by evolve which is a joke. They keep giving g you the run around on issues.

4/5 We really loved the location! We loved the dock and decks, but the house is showing signs of wear. We were a bit disappointed in the cleanliness, and we encountered a few cockroaches during our stay which was a bummer (but maybe unavoidable).

Regarding the cockroaches, these are actually wood roaches, which are common in North Carolina, especially after rain. They typically emerge from the trees and outdoor wood. We manage this with regular professional pest control to minimize their presence.

Great house!
5/5 Great house!! We stayed here for the seafood festival at moorehead and to spend a few days kyaking and fishing. The house was perfect for us! My family enjoyed the pier and caught lots of great fish. Loved the back deck the the cool nights and the gas fire pit. The whole street lost power one night so we were able to eat dinner by the fire it was amazing! We will definitely be back!!
