This house is great - the view is amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Close to Bryson City and Cherokee, this cabin was a great, laidback weekend getaway trip for our birthdays. Hot tub is a plus, the view is spectacular, and plenty to do nearby if you want to get out. The fireplace was very cozy!

This house was beautiful and had a spectacular view. Had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Would stay again!
From the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to write us a great review! We try very hard to maintain our cabin at the top of the mountain."
The house was clean and all amenities were as described. The road up to the house is steep, but we made it in a minivan without issues. The view was amazing and well worth the steep drive. The 3rd bedroom being in a separate structure was not clear from the listing. It worked out for us, but could be a problem for families with younger children. The listing should be updated to make this more clear. The house was clean, but there were a few maintenance items that need addressing. Specifically the mantle over the fireplace is falling apart and there are some loose spindles on the stairs. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again.

From the owner: "Hello David, thank you for the positive review. Since your review the mantle has been replaced as well as the fireplace and we added a push button On/Off wall switch as well so you don’t need to fiddle with the pilot lite and thermostat on the front of the fireplace. We addressed the loose spindles as well. Thanks for the feedback, it definitely helps us keep the cabin up to date."
This is a lovely cabin with wonderful views, the sunsets were spectacular. It is on top of the mountain, so very private and quiet. The cabin could use some TLC but overall it is a great place and I would recommend this place. The road up is a one way mountain road and I was glad my son was driving.
