Spacious and Cute!
4/5 Our experience was overall fantastic! I will say that the amount of towels provided was underwhelming, as we didn't want to wash a load of towels every day - especially when we were out and about all day long. There is literally only enough towels for the amount of guests... and we had 14. So, one towel per person. Also, the heater couldn't really keep up with the weather - and there is one window in the kitchen that is not sealed properly, so the cold air kept coming inside. We would leave for the day and come back to find that the thermostat automatically reset itself to air condition instead of heat, making it 60 degrees or lower inside, when it was 34 degrees outside.
Otherwise, we had an amazing stay. And again, we had 14 people - 8 adults and 6 children, and it was more than enough room for us all to be moving around at all times.
One other downfall, we wished the hot tub was in working order. It was completely drained and we totally wished we were able to sit in it after a long day of skiing and snow tubing.
It fit our group's needs perfectly
5/5 We went to this house for a weekend and the way the beds are arranged it was perfect for our group - with the kids having their own den to themselves and each couple having a good size bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked (it could use some cleanup and organization but we found everything we needed). The location is also good, not too far from Boone, Sugar Mountain, and Blowing Rock. We are definitely considering going back soon. Thanks!!
