  Master bedroom reeked of pet urin throughout stay with visible stains all over carpets. Ended up sleeping on living room couches to get away from constant smell when doors are closed and heater running. Returned home today from vacation and clothes from luggage even have a faint urin smell on them. Outside trash bins were filled to brim on arrival and never emptied from previous guest. They remained full during the entire duration of our 6 day trip. Had to store trash bags on back patio. Communicated all this to mngmt. Although they were polite, their only accommodation was “come back and see us to give another chance to provide higher standards”... We spent over 4 thousand dollars and not even offered a courtesy partial credit or refund. I understand these problems were most likely caused by prior guest but why should my family have to suffer for it? The whole “come back and see us” really rubbed me the wrong way. Hopefully future guests will benefit from the issues my family had to go through.

  Smaller items: 3 total garbage bags for a family of 8 for 6 days. Not all bath rooms had hand soap. The ones that did were essentially empty and seemed watered down. Clothes dryer did not work because lint catcher was not emptied in a VERY long time. We cleaned out the lint catcher and worked much better. 1 toilet paper roll provided per bathroom w one backup role for entire house. Most of this was also communicated to Mgmt on day 1. They rellied “all items provided are just a courtesy”… so expect to bring your own of these items.

  We love this area of Beech Mountain. The neighborhood is such a great location to everything. We enjoyed watching the snow being made at the resort for opening weekend. The neighborhood deer are just the best to watch and enjoy. The cabin is very cozy and was great for our family Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the puzzle and games that were provided.

  We enjoyed our stay. House was as described with a great view of the deck. Was really happy to see the carpeted stairs to make it easy for our dog to go down to the room we stayed in.
