For the price, more was expected. 1 TV in living room that would not stay connected to internet so you could watch something. No bedrooms had televisions. There was a weird smell when you walked in, like a musty dirt smell. Bathroom towels were cheap and old. There is a wrought iron table and chair patio set outside, that when I sat in, the seat fell through the bottom. We were expecting a lot more for the price. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. I don’t normally write post, however, this was a very disappointing property. The house we rented last year was 1/2 of the price and offered up a lot more conviences that is expected.

We’re sorry to hear this stay didn’t meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We had the internet company investigate the connection and discovered the issue was with the TV itself — it has since been replaced.
- While the home currently only has one TV, we understand that may not suit every guest’s preferences and will consider this feedback moving forward.
- We’ve updated the towels in the home and replaced the outdoor patio furniture after learning about the issue.
- We’re also keeping an eye on the musty smell you mentioned to ensure the home feels fresh and welcoming for each stay.
Thanks again for taking the time to leave your review — we’re always working to improve and appreciate the feedback!
The house has amazing views and is great to sit on the porch , if they had tall chairs you could see the view over the rails . Our first night we woke up with a big roach crawling in bed , and woke up and killed it ( I have photo) the TV never would worked for more than 5 minutes they had a repair man come while we were gone and still didn’t stay on , won’t stay connected to internet . You can’t cook without resetting breaker ever 5 minutes . Had to kill Ants in kitchen every morning .I think it could be a great house if they did some bug spraying ,fixed the internet so TV would work , fixed the stove issue and got some tall beach chairs

From the Owner: "I hate that your stay was less than perfect. Had you notified me about the issues you experienced, I would have done my best to make things right—unfortunately, I can’t fix what I don’t know about. I truly appreciate your feedback and will make sure everything is addressed. Thank you, and I hope you’ll visit again!"
Pluses* Great location - this property is not that far away from any attractions, but is far enough down Highway 90 that you don't get as much road noise at night. We've stayed at several beachfront places in Biloxi and Gulfport, one of them a high-rise, and you get a lot of noise throughout the night in those towns.* Beach is right across the street and very convenient. The front two bedrooms have ocean views.Opportunities for Improvement *Ceiling fan in the living room doesn't work and according to the Host, never has. Not a big deal, but if you're from the South, you're used to having working ceiling fans in every room.* There was no soap for the bathtub/shower. There was a small pat of soap in each bathroom for the sink. We had cars, so a trip to Walmart resolved that.* The TV in the living room is mounted flush to the wall. We usually bring a device (Amazon Fire stick, Apple TV, etc.) that has subscriptions. Being so flush, we couldn't plug in the stick, but was able to fish a HDMI cable (for Apple TV) with a skinny arm. Suggest the host plug one in that can be used for this purpose. FYI- we tried to use the TV apps (Netflix), but had issues connecting to the house wi-fi. Other devices, phones, tablets, had no issue connecting.Observations*With a great view comes steep stairs. If one of your travelers has any issues, be aware.* This is for any beachfront property you rent, be aware that you'll have road noise from the front and train noise from the back. There are only two trains that run during the night. This is not specific to this property, it's any property.Overall, we had a nice stay.

From the owner, "Hi Cecil, Thank you for the helpful review! You’ll be pleased to know that a new ceiling fan has been installed! I will definitely check into making the TV more accessible. You are the first to mention it, but I can see how it could be an issue. I do strive to make guests as comfortable as possible, and suggestions from guests like you make that possible!"
From the owner: "Anika was a great guest! She followed all the house rules and left everything in place! I would definitely host again."
