Definitely false advertisement
1/5 To start off, the place claimed to have a pool. They have a pool, but it was not even filled with water. In the listing it claimed to have a nice pool and corn hole. When booking, there was no notice that the pool was not working. We planned a mini get away with our 14 month old son. We drove 2 1/2 hours hoping to be able to stay in a cabin and take our son swimming and chill out. However, none of the activities were there. We get there to the room and there is a PAMPHLET on the pool and the rules for the pool. They should have took that out and let their guests KNOW that there was no pool. We ended up leaving Saturday afternoon and didn’t even stay the whole time due to how poorly the place was. When I contacted who was in charge, they said the place is under new owners and they don’t have any way to get to any of the listings. If that’s true, then how did they know we booked a stay?? Seems very untruthful and unprofessional. Then I asked for some sort of compensation due to the lack of actives that were listed because if we would have known this BEFORE booking, we wouldn’t have booked there. It was very overpriced for what was offered. We would have rather stayed in a hotel room and went to the city pool like we had to do instead of pay the price for their place. We were told that the person in charge would talk to the owners and would get back to us on Monday. We are past that and have not heard anything. Also the customer service is very poor. Very frustrating that we spent this money for nothing that was actually listed on the booking! Just book somewhere else if you are looking for professionalism and a great stay. Super disappointing that we drove that far and spent that money for a weekend that we had to replan and make major accommodations for.
5/5 3/5 3/5 It wasn’t bad but maybe needs to be portrayed as a smaller venue.. Definitely just for a couple.. The AC did not keep up, and NO ceiling fans.. They did provide a small table fan, was so grateful for.. I liked the place and location was perfect..
