5/5 This is our second stay at this property and I'm hoping we can get a third visit reserved soon. The peaceful view and charming Charlevoix vibe is what my family of 4 needed to escape for a few days after the busy holidays. This historical house is a perfect get away no matter the time of year, but winter is pretty magical. We immediately turned on the beautiful fireplace, put on our comfy clothes, and just enjoyed each others' company. We watched water fowl, deer, and squirrels enjoy the icy day from the many windows. It is pretty hard to entertain two teenage girls, but this house fit the bill. We had family time of a game night and dinner, movie night with take out, morning lakefront walks, and a bit of shopping downtown and in nearby Petoskey. The house is just like the description (and more), immaculately clean, comfortable beds, with a beautiful kitchen. It is far enough from town to feel secluded but close enough to walk to the lighthouse and stores. Anyone visiting the Charlevoix area for an overnight stay should consider this property!
