The neighborhood is super quiet and easy to get to and from LSU campus. Backyard was fenced in for our dog which was nice.

The house itself is a good house and was clean and well kept. The reason we give it 3 stars is because of safety of the neighborhood and area, as well as inconsistent wifi and lack of follow up from host.My husband and I came in for the LSU game, so we wanted to watch college gameday before heading to the LSU game. The tv did not have standard cable or any other provider that would allow us to watch college football games leading up to the game. They have streaming services (Netflix and Hulu) but you can’t get any of the live channels that broadcast college games— which was frustrating. We reached out to host to ask about any solutions and we didn’t hear back from them until almost a week after we left, which was odd. Then we had some issues with the wifi during our stay. Generally, the house is good and well maintained! Would suggest upgrading TV knowing peopleWho come into town often are sports fans, additionally would suggest putting TVs in the bedrooms! This area of town is inconsistent safety wise— theres some newer neighborhoods near the Lauberge casino which we were hopeful we would be near, but we were in an older neighborhood that was not in the best part of town. We wanted to go on a morning walk, and when we did, we ended upBeing yelled at by some locals also walking in the neighborhood, yelling incoherently. This obviously isn’t the hosts fault! Just unfortunate. With a few upgrades, still believe this house could be a good option in the future
