Wonderful retreat
5/5 We loved everything about this place. The setting was perfect. The host is very kind and accommodating. She takes very good care of the guests. We had our two grandsons with us and they played in the front yard where we were very comfortable watching from the Adirondack chairs on the front porch. The kitchen is stocked with cookware.
I can't say enough about how comfortable we felt.

Peaceful, resting place, comfort and hospitality beyond measure …

Mary5/5 We loved staying at this property. Host provides everything you can imagine needing for your stay. The bonus of fresh eggs, a jot of honey, and warm, fresh baked homemade cookies made our stay extra special. This is a prime property with a fantastic owner.

5/5 The house was adorable and waiting on the countertop were a dozen fresh eggs and a glass bottle of fresh honey. The grounds were filled with fruit trees and grapevines, as well as large rocks and wildlife. Thank goodness for the walking sticks available on the porch, as I needed one to walk the large yard. The chickens were so sweet and I visited them morning and evening. I never opened the front door that a bunny rabbit wasn't in the yard. Bee hives are in the back of the property, so be sure to bring your epi pen if you are allergic to bees! The hostess baked fresh chocolate chip cookies for us on the second day of our stay. I will keep this location in mind if ever I am in Kentucky as no place could be as special. We felt so blessed to be staying on this property with these hosts!
