5/5 We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. I especially loved waking up early and grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting on the back deck watching all the animals. I thought it was special that the owners left a note and bottle of wine. Everything was great but we were charged a pet fee and we and members of our party did not have a pet with us. I asked to have the fee removed and got no response so my husband and I ate the charge. Also, there was a pee stain on the master bedroom floor. I found cleaner in the closet and cleaned it up. Funny because we didn’t have a pet but I was cleaning up pet urine. We liked the home and loved that we all got our own bathrooms. Very nice place.

5/5 Very clean well stocked house. Very quiet area with no visible neighbors. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the back porch. We would definately stay again.

5/5 We had a great stay this weekend! There were lots of great wildlife moments (turkey, gopher, and deer), beautiful scenery and the hosts left popcorn and wine to enjoy by the fire. We had a great stay.

Great Getaway
5/5 The home is beautiful and the bonus was the 4 bedrooms with each one having their own bathroom. We very much enjoyed the fire pit outside and the view to the backyard was exactly what we needed to decompress and detox from technology. The drive into town was not far away and we purchased groceries for our stay. The host had plenty of recommendations. We did bring our 2 pups with us and they knew we were on vacation! The host was very thoughtful and caring and met all our needs. We would love to come back and stay here. We celebrated my mom’s 81st birthday and went antique shopping in near by Elizabeth plus Main Street in Galena. Our favorite spot was Thunder Bay Falls. Thank you again to the host for sharing your beautiful home!
