• The feeling of coming home

  The title says it all. Coming home. From the first to the last day. We were welcomed with open arms and immediately felt the great hospitality. Mindy and Will were such lovely hosts, they were always concerned about us, always available to give us advice and help. But at the same time they also gave us our privacy. The accommodation was equipped with everything you need for a wonderful holiday on the Big Island. Nothing was missing. We really hope that this won't be our last stay. I can warmly recommend this accommodation to everyone!!!

• Piece of paradise

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Wilmin’s Vanilla House! Wil and Mindy could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! Their studio is beautifully decorated, roomy, comfortable and super clean! They have made every effort to make it feel like home from putting out candies and various snacks to providing condiments, water and a variety of juices in the refrigerator.

  Their property is gorgeous and very quiet. I highly recommend asking for a tour of their orchard. It is not only fun but also very educational. I took an early morning walk everyday and found the area to be very safe and peaceful.

  I highly recommend this property and would stay here again without hesitation! You will not find a better place or people to rent from!!

• Wonderful place in paradise

  So happy to stayed in here ! This place is near to everything you need in Big Island, it has great commodities (the patio is good for relaxing breakfasts), and Mindy & Wil are so welcoming ! We had appreciate all the services that they offers. We thanks them again.

• Great stay near Hilo and Volcanoes National Park

  This cozy spot is a great stay on the east side of the Big Island! Close to Keaau for decent grocery shopping and restaurants, and Hilo is only 20 minutes away with many more options. Great jumping off point for Volcanoes NP as well as nearby beaches. The space is small but plenty of space for 2 people, and the kitchenette makes it easy to save money on meals. There's a great little patio for outdoor dining. Mini split AC in the bedroom was a great benefit! Finally, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming and we appreciated all the snacks, drinks, and fresh fruit that were provided. Highly recommend when visiting the Big Island!
