  Fantastic property. Well maintained and very clean. Perfect get away to the coast with pets. The fenced in yard was so very helpful and there is a walkable neighborhood right across the street if you need to exercise your canine children.

  Beautiful sunrise view from main bedroom and the balcony is comfortable to watch the change of tides and wildlife.

  Check in was a breeze given the excellent communication from homeowner.

  We would not hesitate to return to this property!

• Great Location and Views

  We spent two weeks over Thanksgiving at the property. The views of the Herb river were amazing as were sunrises. My only criticism is a lack of sidewalks in the neighborhood, no real places to walk or run, but not the fault of the property. 15 minutes to the historic district and River Street.

• Wonderful retreat

  We really enjoyed our stay here. The home was clean and although we ate all our meals out it appeared to be well stocked with everything you may need to cook in. The location was great. Close enough to downtown but not in the midst of everything. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings and watching the birds. The master bathroom shower and tub were great. We had our dogs and the yard was fenced and big enough for them to enjoy. The home was very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

• A+ Kingfisher Cottage

  The cottage is wonderful inside and outside. House was super clean and extremely well appointed, there was nothing we needed that we didn’t have. Plenty of cooking utensils and the appliances were clean, super nice, and easy to work. We cooked in 75% of our trip and we never do that. Bedding was as comfortable as home and smelled fresh. Bathrooms were clean and the master bath was luxurious with the shower / tub setup. House was roomy and had plenty of space to stretch out. TVs were perfectly placed and had the right setup for us to watch anything we wanted. Living area TV was super sized which was nice from a viewing standpoint. Loft was very nice even though we didn’t use it but at least it was clean, roomy, and cool up there. Having a pull in parking spot was nice and the luggage / grocery elevator was excellent. Back deck was one of our favorite spots and best view for the sunrise. Gas grill was in almost new condition so that cooked great. Plenty of comfy seating with places to kick your feet up. Eating area on the back deck was used and enjoyed. The fire pit area was nice as was the river dock. We didn’t swim but certainly could’ve with the provided lowering apparatus and ladder. Honestly the house was the best thing about our entire trip to Savannah and we’d stay here over and over again. The pictures do this house some justice but trust me when I say they don’t do it 100% justice, it is even nicer than the pics allow for. Will be back!
