• Nice by the creek

  We had a great time in the cottage by the creek. It was a peaceful place. The kitchen was nice and had the things we needed to cook our meals. the beds were comfy. There was a firepit that we sat by one afternoon just listening the creek. It was a chilly weekend but we were on a music retreat to write songs. It was a great place for that. The owners even left us fresh farm eggs for us. Such a nice touch!

  There is a Dollar General store about 15 minutes away if you need something last minute.

• A Perfect Getaway Cottage

  This cottage overly exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the perfect amount of space for our family. We were blown away by all the attention to details left by Kurt and the organization of everything. We loved the deck and the creek running right by the house. My kids had the best time playing in the creek and we so enjoyed the firepit. We felt like all the "necessities" was taken care of which is a huge burden lifted when traveling for a short weekend. We will for sure be returning to stay here on our next weekend trip to Ellijay!

  Loved the cabin! Master bedroom bed was super comfy!! the stream is right outside the cabin. Wish they had had ESPN on their TV package - but we survived...lol....

• House was outstanding but property not as pictured.

  First, let me say the house was beautiful, clean and had everything needed. The negatives for our group was in the pictures it shows the creek banks to be mowed and property taking care of. We booked this property to enjoy the creek. It is now grown up all but one tiny spot. The bottom line is if you are there to just stay in the house, it's great. If you want to fish and enjoy the creek find something else.

  - Thank you for choosing to stay in our Ellijay, Georgia home and leaving a review, as guest feedback is vitally important to us and the success of our vacation rental business.
  - The listing does highlight the creekside location, but it does not advertise the property as a fishing retreat or guarantee fishing access.
  - The photos were taken shortly after construction during the winter months when vegetation was minimal. Over time, wildflowers, bushes, and ferns have naturally grown around the property, contributing to the lush landscape.
  The Georgia Department of Natural Resources prohibits clearing vegetation along trout streams, which includes the creek at the property. For this reason, the area surrounding the creek is intentionally preserved.
  - A small, cleared section of the creek is available for children to play in, but there are no plans to further clear vegetation along the creek.
