• Great house to relax and recharge!

  The house is beautiful and set in a lovely setting. I loved reading my the fireplace! Very well appointed with everything we needed. Kate was very responsive when we had questions. Only negative was the ladybug infestation, mainly in the master bathroom and the loft. Harmless but unexpected and slightly uncomfortable. We would definitely return.

  Our recent visit to Dahlonega GA and our family was extra special because of the wonderful home shared by KATYJ. The fireplace with views, the gorgeous property and the easy access to tourist location and wineries made this VRBO just perfect for us. The photos on KATYJ "Vrbo page" are lovely but do not "do justice" to the décor, amenities and many comforts in this mountain home. My husband and I also enjoyed the easy access to a couple of walking trails and the Montaluce Winery. SO many national and state parks with SO many waterfalls. Dahlonega and Helen are a reasonable drive and well worth the time. Do not think twice - just book your visit if you plan to be in the area. We will again for sure!

• Elegant cabin in a great location

  A beautifully decorated and elegant cabin close enough to civilization but far enough away to give you that secluded feeling of a cabin. The owner has provided everything you would need and then some! She has a gift for detail. I would highly recommend many stays at this beautiful cabin near Dahlonega, GA.

• The perfect mix of seclusion and style!!!

  This summer marked our first visit to the dahlonega area that we haven’t stayed in a hotel. Nothing against the holiday inn...always a class-act no matter the city...but Katy’s cabin is truly fantastic. It is well-stocked with almost anything you could need from toiletries to food items. The entire home is beautifully decorated and the furniture is more than inviting. The sleeping quarters could more than accommodate 5-6 people and several children. My only complaint is that I could not take Katy’s kitchen home with me!!! I’m plotting in my head now, how I can convert my own kitchen to hers :) The multiple porches are so relaxing during the day and very cozy at night. I spent two different mornings reading to the cats who somewhat tolerated me by the end of the visit. My wife and I truly had a blast, and the cabin was the icing on the cake. Such a warm place to come home each night after a day of traveling and site seeing. We have found our permanent dahlonega getaway spot, and will be traveling back to Katy’s often. This cabin is a must see and extremely affordable. Please check this place out...that is any weekend that the Andrews aren’t able to come over from Alabama :)))). Thanks again Ms. Katy and we look forward to visiting again soon. Only next time for several more days.

• Amazing home!

  Wow! What a wonderful host and beautiful home! The pictures do not do the place justice, it is much bigger and nicer than the photos. The beds were super comfy and the place felt very homey. We were in town for a friends birthday and had an amazing dinner and tastings at Monteluce. Super close too. We would definitely stay here again!
