• Lack of communication

  The address we were given for GPS took us to the event center. There was a lady there setting up for an event who then led us to our cabin. Otherwise, we’d just be driving around hunting for it ourselves. It was not told to us to keep going up the road to find our cabin. Then when we got to our cabin an elderly man approached us to inform us that our cabin had electrical issues & that he was moving us to a cabin next door. He admitted he knew the day before that there was an issue but failed to inform us & give us an opportunity to cancel. The cabin we rented (Honey Bee) had a private porch & the one we were moved to did not have a private porch. The road was visible along with passing cars & there was another cabin visible. We were told by the man, that never introduced himself, that the other cabin was vacant for the weekend, however the lights were on all night & we saw another couple through the windows. We were not comfortable with the communication or the lies. This was our 15th wedding anniversary trip & we just wanted some quiet time alone & we heard the other couple arguing loudly the entire night on Saturday. We thought about calling to complain, but the. you never know how other people will react when they know you’ve complained. Other than that, we had a nice time & the cabin was great. Bed was very comfortable & the hot tub was perfect. We saw a few deer & that was neat to watch in the woods. Thank you!

  Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend! The cabin was clean, very well taken care of. The hot tub was clean and very warm. The cabin itself was equipped with everything that someone would need. Overall a great experience and would definitely come back and recommend to anyone.

  The ceiling fan light didn,t work the washing machine was broken and the hot tub was dirty,and the oven was gease

  Just was able to relax make a fire go out to eat when necessary and come back and sleep!!!! Great quiet getawayw

  We loved the location and setting of the cabin in the woods. However, we were not happy with this rental. They need to replace the mattress and box spring because the mattress sank to the box spring and the springs creaked every time you moved in the bed. They need to replace the burnt out and all dim lights with LED. This place does not get much natural light so it was very dark without good light. The loveseat and chair look good but were not comfortable. The towels were thin and felt light you were using a loofah on your skin. The batteries were bad or empty in the remotes. Water was leaking from the water line below the hot tub and we were worried about the electrical power of the hot tub so this was not used.

  - The cleaning team confirmed that any water beneath the hot tub is from routine maintenance, not a leak, and the hot tub is safe to use.
