  Cabin was clean, cozy, as advertised! Beautiful, quiet, tranquil, and relaxing cabin! Perfect for a weekend getaway to Blue Ridge! Owner lives downstairs but that was not an issue! Little more off-road than I had imagined! Best to have 4 WD! We had a truck but difficult to get up driveway so we had to park at top! Pet friendly and perfect for fur babies!

  The cabin was beautiful! Loved the cabin! But the roads are terrible! Very narrow and step hills! I read the reviews and no one mentioned the roads! But cabin was just as pictures showed! Would not rent again only because of the roads!

  We were worried with the property owner living in the basement unit but never heard or saw him so all good.

  My mom and dad went for their 55th anniversary and really enjoyed themselves. The house was beautiful. You won’t regret booking this place.

  The house was just fine except that the owner lives full time on the property. It felt as though we were invading his personal space. When we went out on the deck we could hear him on the phone, we could hear the ring alerting his phone when we would leave and enter the property. Just an uncomfortable situation. Just be aware, you are not renting a house , just a space to be shared with the owner.

  The right vacation home is everything, and we’re sorry if this one wasn’t quite the fit you were hoping for. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - We make it clear in the listing that we reside in the lower-level unit, while guests have their own private upstairs space.
  - We use security cameras only for standard monitoring of arrivals and departures, and never inside the home or in areas that would impact guest privacy.
  - We are mindful of guest comfort and do our best to keep noise to a minimum when visitors are enjoying the deck.
  We appreciate your comments and will continue to be transparent so future guests know exactly what to expect.
