This is definitely a multi-generation family cabin/home. From the pictures on the walls (which are all dated which was awesome) to the stain glass windows and the ball at the foot of the stairs that all came from a relative's house that was being demolished in Ireland. There is a book on the table in the living room "The Cabin" which tells their story. Although this cabin is older and dated, it was very comfortable, homey, warm and inviting. Had everything we needed to prepare and have Thanksgiving dinner. The views from the back porch looking at the lake are beautiful!! Easy to get to and owner is so nice and easy to communicate with. I'm looking forward to returning for another visit.

From the owner: "Gayle we absolutely loved having you guys up there, and so appreciate that you "get it"... the homey, peaceful vibe of this stunning lakefront property. Looking forward to having you there again!"
The cove is perfect for docking a boat and experiences little traffic. We were able to catch just as many fish off the dock as we did in the boat. The house is cozy and features a great living room for hanging out, talking, or watching TV on a large screen. Keep in mind that the roads become narrow after turning off the main road, so if you're pulling a boat or trailer, it's best to be cautious. We only pulled a trailer and manually parked it under the separate covered carport, which worked out well. This was our second time staying at the cabin, and we have found the owners and management team to be excellent. The cabin has a rich family history, making it even more interesting. We definitely plan to stay there again!
From the owner: "Rusty, thanks for the comment (and warning about the narrow driveway! We agree!) We so love your appreciation for this cabin's family history. It was our go-to vacation spot for 35 years, and my in-law's home after they retired. It means a lot to us and we're super happy that it means something to our guests. THANK YOU."
This was our second time staying here over the past 2 summers. The cabin is older but definitely family oriented. Beds are comfy and had everything we needed. Our dog enjoyed every second of our stay. We fished off the dock, had a pontoon and jet ski hooked up to the dock as well, the dock area is perfect! Overall it was a great time and the response of the questions we had were answered in a very quick manner ! Always like staying here. If you want the lake life and feel, This is the place to get it!

From the owner: "We love repeat guests; it makes a statement about our guest appreciation for a place to relax, swim, read, hang out on the dock, and a comfortable 'homey' place. It means a lot to us. This is our family's cabin, where we have loved coming a few times a year for the past 35 years, so we love it like you do! Please come back again!"
