We arrived at the property and found dead bugs in the utensil drawers. There was dog urine on the rugs and dead roaches on the floor. The master bed comforter smelled and looked dirty, we had to buy sheets and comforter to sleep. The bed was a king which was nice but the bed was hard for our liking. Other than that it was cleaned. The next day the police surrounded the adjacent block and we were notified of a meth lab next door. We could evacuate if we felt unsafe. I text our host and asked if we could move or what could be done and he did not respond. We elected to stay after the bomb squad disposed of the chemicals. We were expecting the property outdoor area to be larger. There is about 6 feet from the pool to the fence line and it was astroturf and not real grass. There is no grass or yard on the property it is all seashells. The pool was clean upon arrival. After 4 days we requested it to be cleaned and the person was there for 10 minutes and I’m sure did not check the ph levels or chlorine content. It was quiet at night and didn’t notice anything suspicious going on. The beach and restaurants were fairly close and any items needed we got from a nearby Walmart or Publix . For the cost of nearly $2000 for the week, I would not recommend.

Great property that is centrally located to everything that Sarasota and the greater rent has to offer. I was visiting family that lives in town and we all had a wonderful time enjoying the pool and using the grill. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The house was perfect. We’ve never rented a house that had so many little extra things that made our stay even more enjoyable. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Even spices, coffee, aluminum foil, ziploc bags and coffee filters. The house was also stocked well with cleaning supplies including laundry detergent. Also supplied shampoo, body wash and conditioner. The house was very clean. Plenty of extra towels, sheets and blankets. Pool was very relaxing. The pool felt great on the days it was close to 100 degrees. We’ve stayed at other houses in that area and when the temperature gets that hot the pools feel like bath water. Not this pool. It does have some shade on half the pool in the afternoon around 2, but you can still get sun from the other side of the pool up until 4:30ish. The pool does get a few leaves from the trees but nothing like the previous reviews suggested. The house is a quick 10/15 min drive to Lido beach. There were two beach chairs in the garage along with two umbrellas. There were also pool noodles and a few floats for the pool. Over all the week we spent there was awesome. We will defiantly rent this home again. If I had to say anything negative it would be the couch in the living room is very uncomfortable. So having a relaxing tv night with the family after along day at the beach is not very comfortable.
House was nice and comfy, but yard a "BIG" disappointment.Leaves and black pollen everywhere preventing use of pool area.Pool was well cleaned twice weekly but within an hour pool filled with leaves and pollen once again making its use impossible. Husband had recent back surgery and was looking forward to exercising in pool but due to above-described condition was unable to. Screened in porch was covered with black pollen, making us unable to take advantage of its use. Gutters were plugged with leaves and growth so when it rained there was a pool of water that collected inside this area soaking the area rug and in order to get to grill, I had to walk through pooled rainwater. Outside of screened in area was covered in green mold. When we first arrived, there was unremoved dog feces from previous guest's pets all over back yard. This was cleaned up after I complained to the owner. Compared to our stay in a home in Bradenton last year this was a very big disappointment and @ a much much higher price!!! We definitely would not stay here again.

We really loved staying at this home. The house is close to many attractions and the neighborhood is very safe. We had an issue with the bed in the master, but the owner quickly replaced it. Awesome service! My only complaint is that the pool is not heated, nor is there a cage over the pool, so the water was full of leaves.
