• Tired Unit with Broken AC

  The unit was behind a shared front door with its own access code which was strange. It would have been easier to just leave that door open for both units instead of having to input three access codes (two for the room and one for the parking garage). This also meant that neighbors coming and going got to slam shut two doors instead of one. The unit was clean but tired with scuffed walls everywhere and some battered furniture. The kitchenet area had camp style silverware with a mini fridge that froze everything. Yes, I followed the instructions on the front of the fridge to not turn the cold setting above two so I kept it at one and it still froze all my food (lettuce, yogurt, tea, milk, grapes, cheese, etc.). The air conditioning was the big problem for me due to the complex/broken thermostat. The thermostat was a "smart" one that would not respond to inputs even after I wasted my vacation time on Youtube trying to learn how to use it. Thankfully it was mild temperatures this time of year and I managed, but not well. The tv cable and Netflix app did not work due to the cable box being outdated. Overall, I would not recommend this unit for a paying guest unless these issues are addressed.

  The A/C in the room barely functioned. The coldest the room ever cooled down to was 75 degrees and that was in the middle of the night when it was 70 degrees outside. We informed the owners and asked about remedies, to which they told us they were aware that this was an issue and suggested we just close the curtains. Most nights it was around 77-78 degrees inside and was terribly uncomfortable. There weren't even any windows to open.

  If that was not bad enough, there was construction going on the outside of the building. We were not told about it until after we booked and were promised that the noise would not affect us. However, the noise was very audible in the room during the working hours and the pool on the property was essentially unusable. The pool had lots of floating debris in it and the jackhammering noise made being anywhere near the building intolerable for more than a couple of minutes. This was a real shame because the pool looked very nice and would have a been a nice place to spend the day.

  The building itself is a bit dingy and could use some updates. However, the room was fairly up to date and clean. The furniture was nice but the mattress was pretty cheap feeling and uncomfortable. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away and had clean white fluffy sand. There was plenty of room for chairs and everyone to setup, though the hotels to claim all of the front row spots on the beach and call security if you sit in front of them. Had it not been for the construction and inept A/C this could have been a nice place to spend the week.

  This place is amazing! Everything is beautiful clean the pool is wonderful you don't even have to leave the resort there's everything you could ask for here

• Construction on building

  There is no disclaimer that this building is currently under construction. Construction starts at 8:30 AM and does not finish till 5 PM so there is no sleeping in nor taking any afternoon naps.
