  • Some issues but vacation still a BLAST

    This was my second year renting this property.

    My only issues this year was the 5th step coming downstairs was loose and was never fixed. I informed the hostess, whom assured me maintenance would stop by, but they never showed.

    It also seems the HOA has changed the rules regarding parking. In order to not block walkways. We had to park in box formation. Two cars straight and one car sideways at end of driveway. We made it work for the three cars.

    Other than those things, we had enough space for 11 adults and another exciting vacation for the book. Our hostess was very nice and made getting onto the property seamless.

  • Cleanliness of this home

    We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of this house! We brought our children and grandchildren on a vacation there expected a nice house from the pictures shown. In the kitchen pans were old and worn, appliances dirty, small appliances missing parts we paid to have the pool heated and it was not heated when we got there and dirty, there were cockroaches running around in the kitchen When we turned the light on. Baseboards were filthy. The front door had handprints on it from several previous guests. Bathroom downstairs shower curtain was ripped and looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time toothpaste still on the mirrors and urine on the toilet! Going upstairs, stairs were dusty, carpets stained, and obviously had not been vacuumed before we arrived, my daughters had to wipe down the bathrooms with Clorox wipes, so we could set our grandchildren on the toilets! The glass shower doors still had cream rinse/shampoo spots still on them, obviously those had not been wiped down and the Shower door runners were filthy and had not been cleaned in months or longer!! I have pics! The toilets had not been scrubbed, and there was hair in the showers from previous guests! lightbulbs were out in some of the bathrooms and missing parts and pieces to the sinks in the bathrooms also. There were no pillowcases on the pillows, my husband found two that were wadded up in the hall closet when we put those on our pillows they were ripped and torn. In the master bedroom, it looked like it had not been dusted in a while dust around the TV and on nightstands. The fan in the master bathroom was so loud we did not even turn it on to use it. The area of this home was nice in a gated community but the cleanliness of this house was horrible! I felt like we just walked right into someone else that had just left there and had not been cleaned. Also, the towels looked like they were supposed to be white, but they were gray and very stained, and there was not enough toilet paper in each bathroom to sustain our five day stay. We were very unsatisfied with this home. I would never stay here again! We have a VRBO home in Scottsdale that we rent and I would NEVER let our guests stay in the house as dirty as this one was and be OK with it! I hope this gets resolved for the next guest. I would hate for them to be as disappointed in the cleanliness as we were! I was stressed the whole time on our vacation here!

  • Dirty , poor communication with property manager

    Upon arrival, the pool heat was not working . When we reached out to the property manager, he said the last renters had complained as well and he had just told them to turn it up. The next day we still had not seen anyone to check on the heat so we called again. The property manager was very rude and said he “didn’t know what we expected”. Finally he came out and checked and the filter was plugged (probably all the leaves from the bottom of the pool) . He said he had a new filter coming but it would not be fixed during our stay. The pool maintenance guy showed up Monday evening and fixed the filters but said we could not use the pool for at least an hour due to the chemicals he had put in it . We never were able to use a warm pool and expect a refund for the pool fees. The house was fifthy (I have pictures if you’re interested). It appeared it had not been completely cleaned in a long time . The dishwasher pulls out and does not clean the dishes . Very minimal cooking materials there . Otherwise it was nice to have a grill and propane tanks. Nice neighborhood and Windsor hills as a whole is wonderful .

    Run down for money spent stayed at way nicer places for less money payed little more this time than usual very disappointing been renting down there for 20 years had worse but never paid this much for this type of house and have it in such poor condition screens missing on patio safety barrier post broke spa not working pool filter not cleaning pool .whent to open dishwasher hole unit slid out .Small PCs of insulation all over floor in master closet

    We had an inspection of the house during your check-in, and some oversights occurred. Despite our instructions to ensure thorough cleaning after the inspection, there was leftover insulation in the closet, and there was a mix-up with the pool and spa switches in the breaker box, causing the spa not to work. These issues were fixed during your stay. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
    Additionally, regarding the pool filter not being cleaned, we have a pool service that maintains the pool monthly, but they may have missed the filter. We have since addressed this matter with them to ensure it's promptly resolved.
