Nostalgic "Old Florida" Beach Cottage
5/5 We loved this little cottage! We went with 3 grandkids and everything we needed was right there. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, extra pillows, blankets, beach toys, beach chairs, literally everything we needed was right there! Located on the beach, almost directly across the Boulevard from a mini golf and within walking distance (2-3 blocks) of several restaurants and an ice cream shop. We stayed in the unit closest to the street, the beach was a short stroll down a sidewalk through the cottages. The house is a little dated but the furnishings are comfortable and it is decorated nice and beachy. The internet was a little slow on the laptop, but that could be attributed to the kids all having their devices connected at once as well as the smart TVs being on. The kitchen is a little small if you plan on doing a lot of cooking on vacation, but if you are making pizzas, sandwiches and snacks, it is plenty big enough and well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We only had a couple of issues with the house (a leaky sink and a loose dining chair leg) and they were fixed the next day. As for the grounds, there is a small shelter house with a picnic table and several chairs. The only disappointment is that we were expecting a grill near the shelter (shown in the photos) but it was no longer there. As for Indian Shores Beach, if you are expecting the white powder sand of Clearwater Beach, don't get your hopes up. The sand here is more course than Clearwater, but is still nice and not nearly as crowded. Obviously, this has nothing to do with the house, just letting people know what to expect from the beach. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better stay in a great location. We are currently trying to coordinate with other family members to rent multiple units in this little "condo village" for a family vacation next summer!

Perfect Beach Vacation
5/5 This was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve taken in a long time. The convenience of the beach, local eateries and attractions could not be beat. The cottage was steps from the beach, cutely decorated & clean. Looked even better in person! We loved the rustic feel that truly felt like the home belonged on the beach. We loved having beach chairs, towels and coolers so we didn’t have to pack our own or purchase there. Communication was great before and during our stay. We will recommend the cottage to our friends.
