• Awesome pool area! Loud construction!

  There are many awesome things about this property: beautiful pool area with plenty of room for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing in the hot tub. The home also comes with a few complimentary "extras" like bikes, pool toys, games, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent which are always appreciated. The location is also great: close to the river, shopping, restaurants.

  There were a few issues:

  1) The code we were given at check-in did not work. Thankfully, the property manager was able to give us hers and that was corrected quickly. NO biggie.

  2) A few areas need repairs: broken entry screen door, broken bathroom drawer, and the fountains in the pool.

  And, finally, the biggest issue:

  3) We rented for 12 days and for 8 of those days there was a team of workers installing a new dock. Basically from 8am-4pm for the 8 weekdays of our vacation there were loud saws, power drills, and even workers coming into the lanai to charge batteries for said loud power tools. The workers were polite and kind. . . . but my idea of vacay does not typically involve spending time listening to power tools and walking over extension cords by the pool. My husband briefly talked with the owner who did apologize but indicated that the demand for dock repair persons was huge and the repairs could not be delayed. I get it, there was a hurricane 6 months prior to our stay and demand for repairs was high, but early communication about the presence of repair people and some accommodation for the renters would have been helpful and appreciated.

  We loved Casa Azul… we came down to Florida from Minnesota for a relaxation trip.. Nothing too crazy planned, just some much needed time away from busy lives…

  The house had everything we needed and the pool was an extra bonus.. I would definitely stay here again when the need arises..

  Beautiful home layout is super convenient. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of sleeping room to accommodate everyone. We enjoyed fishing right from the back deck. Best part was the pool kids couldn’t get enough of it. Clean place comfy beds highly recommend will definitely stay here again in the future . This was our first official family trip thank you for such a wonderful stay.

• Excellent Vacation Spot

  My husband, three boys and I had an amazing stay! House was very clean, pool and spa were great! The bikes were enjoyed by all. Overall we had a wonderful time! Highly recommend this place!

  The property was clean and put together to make guests comfortable. The pool and spa were clean and the spa got hot! We loved it! Plenty of extra blankets, pillow and sheets (which isn't always the case at other places we've stayed) Everything seemed pretty new! We had no problems getting in contact with the property manager, she was great and accommodating! It's on the canal so it would be perfect for renting a boat. All around a very comfortable place!
