3/5 Our experience was stressful and disappointing.
Upon arrival, we discovered the house manual binder that stated that the sofa bed requires a wooden board to be placed under the mattress for better comfort...
This was strange but we figured we would give it a try. However, there wasn't a wooden board and the sofa bed was broken and impossible to sleep on.
We contacted the property manager who tried really hard to help us by bringing another foam padding and a piece of plywood. This also didn't help as the springs of the sofa bed itself are broken.
Our vacation that was supposed to be a relaxing getaway after a very busy year, was ruined as one of us didn't get any sleep in the 2 days we stayed there.
If we knew the sofa bed was broken /unusable, we would have made a reservation elsewhere.
The house was clean but very dark and damp. Definitely overpriced. We wouldn't recommend it even to someone who is not planning to use the sofa bed.

Great, comfortable, and right on the strip
5/5 This was a comfortable and clean little place. Check in and parking was seamless. It is also right there in the middle of the walkable area of Manitou Springs strip of shops and restaurants. Most attractions, like the Pikes peak Cog railway, Cave of the Winds, and the Cliff Dwellings are within a 10-15 drive or 20-30min walk if you are inclined.
4/5 5/5 We absolutely loved our stay at the little house by the creek in Manitou Springs. The house was absolutely perfect for everything we needed, especially the location both to downtown and Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. We were able to park and walk most of the week without having to take our vehicle anywhere. Loved the creekside patio really appreciate your hospitality. We will definitely be back as soon as possible.
