Million dollar views. Very spacious home. Used the hot tub a lot. Everything we needed was provided Decor was nice for a mountain house Love the flooring and appliances
Overall - exactly what the squad needed. Great mountain access, great amenities, and great hot tub views.

This home is a half-hearted attempt at a vacation rental. Missing some essentials and rundown. The curtains are barely hanging in there, furniture is well loved, lots of cobwebs. Property manager was impossible to get a hold of and even when we did speak, it was ineffective as if they weren’t even reading what I was sending them and they were just sending an automated response. The location is great, the view was great, but given the market, I’d recommend you stay somewhere else for that price to get your moneys worth.

Hi Kaley, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- We always appreciate guest feedback, so if you have any specific suggestions regarding essential items you'd like to see, please don't hesitate to reach out!
- We're working on fully replacing the curtains with blinds after the busy season, and we're about halfway there, currently adding both. Additionally, the furniture is in good condition and is less than a year old.
- We're sharing your comments regarding cleanliness and responsiveness with our cleaning and management team to work on these areas of opportunity.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
Positives: • Excellent location.• Huge living/dining room made it ideal for our 6 adults skiing in summit county.Negatives: • This house has been abused and neglected. • Ice buildup on the sidewalk, stairs, and back porch almost broke a few legs.• Lots of dings/holes in the walls, scratches on the doors.• Carpet loose on stairs.• Random crap in the drawers and on shelves.• Knobs broken off cabinets or missing.• Window screens bent, latches broken.• Window curtains broken, or falling off.• The hot tub water was green, and the inside had mold growing on it. • The exterior of the hot tub is falling apart (looks like someone tried to repair it - poorly)• Overall the interior is tired and dated. (Carpet in the master bathroom? Gross).Communication:• The house is managed by a large company (Evolve) that refuses to use VRBO's communication channels, and tries to get you sign up for an Evolve account. (No thank you). • Information about the house came from third-party email that all went to spam.• We use VRBO for the trust and safety - by forcing us to use a third-party system or email, all record and accountability is lost making us wonder why we bother using VRBO.Bottom Line:• This stay was the biggest disappointment in our traveling life - and we've used VRBO extensively with friends and family, as well as other house-share companies.• If the house was maintained appropriately, it might be worth the premium rate this house-farm business is charging — but it's not.

Hi Loren, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
- We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
- We assure you that we prioritize the maintenance of our property. Any wear and tear observed is likely from regular use by guests. We continuously monitor and address any issues to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests.
- We apologize for any inconvenience caused by ice buildup. Summit County's weather conditions can lead to icy surfaces, and we take precautions to mitigate these risks. We will review our procedures to ensure the safety of our guests.
- We strive to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and upkeep in our home. Any imperfections you noticed are either part of the natural aging process of the property or may have occurred recently. We appreciate your understanding and will address any specific issues brought to our attention.
- We understand your preference for communication through VRBO's channels. However, as homeowners, we do not have direct access to questions raised by our guests. We provide guests with our Guest Contact information who are the "boots on the ground" to ensure any questions or concerns can be addressed promptly.
- We are truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our property and services for future guests.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
We had a great stay and the location was amazing. Was nice to relax in the hot tub after a full day of skiing.
There were some basic items that the house did not have, primarily for the kitchen - such as pot holders (to remove things from oven), plates were few and various size, mixing bowls, etc.
I asked the rental company about the possibility of early check in, and they suggested I reach out to the owner, which I never received a reply from. I knew the listing was pet friendly, so would not be surprised by a little animal hair here and there, but it was a bit much.
All in all, we had a great stay and would stay again if the place gets slightly better equipped for hosting.
