The cabin was nice and we had a great time, but the hot tub was not clean or the filter was not working. By the 2nd or 3rd day, the water was cloudy. 5 of the 6 of us that stayed in the cabin used the hot tub, and all 5 of us ended up with folliculitis rash all over our bodies. This was disappointing because we went on a girls trip to a house with a hot tub to get away and relax. We also had problems with the freezer door not closing all of the way. We noticed when we unpacked our things when we got to the house late on the night we arrived. We immediately sent an email to Joe, but his answer was vague and didn't make sense with what was sent. We tried to put a towel in the gap of the freezer door, but it did not help prevent the freezer from running all weekend.

Our family had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! It was the perfect spot for our big family get-together, with plenty of space and so many thoughtful amenities. The private pond, hot tub, and gorgeous views made it extra special—we spent so much time just enjoying the scenery and relaxing together.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.
Overall, this was an amazing stay and one of the best family trips we’ve had. We would absolutely love to come back again!
Cabin was nicely stocked with everything we needed and very clean. Communication with Joe was outstanding. The views are incredible.. The boys had fun fishing in the pond, although they didn’t catch anything. We saw plenty of deer, foxes, hummingbirds, and even wild turkeys, and their babies. We would definitely stay again.!Brent CDenver, CO

It’s a lovely property and outwardly clean home. However, from the moment we arrived until we left there was no hot water. Both the main floor shower and upstairs showers leaked very bad into the basement ceiling. Owner Joe was notified about both. The basement has bad odors of mildew and mold. When you look closer it’s obvious there have been other ceiling leaks and the carpet is just a cover up. The main floor bedroom toilet never worked and would not flush. The hut by the lake is in very poor condition and needs repair and cleaned. With these problems fixed I would give them 4-5 stars.

We had a good time at the cabin, the veiws and land are amazing! Communication with the guest host Joe was outstanding!
The kids loved fishing in the pond (although they didn’t catch anything) we saw foxes, wild turkeys with their babies and tons of hummingbirds.
The cabin is big and great for a family, it was well stocked with everything we needed to make several meals.
