Real Colorado Mountain Cabin Experience
5/5 In one word: "Awesome!"
The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of room for 2 to 4 people. The large, fenced yard was perfect to let the dogs run around and play. The in-floor bathroom heater was fantastic for cold mornings. I loved the old fashioned iron fireplace/heater - it was very romantic to have a cozy fire at night with the lights off (perfect for a wedding anniversary getaway with my wife), and if you don't want a fire, the heating system in the cabin was excellent. Everything was thought of, and provided. If you want to enjoy the outdoors, just step off the porch and you are in a clearing that is prefect for walking. You are surrounded by trees, with drop-dead gorgeous views of snow capped mountains. My trip was too short, but I plan on coming back for a longer stay!

5/5 5/5 Great location; close enough to Fairplay to head in for things like woodfire pizza, or a great cocktail at the Snitching Lady Distillery. Backyard was fantastic for our 3 dogs. A moose wandered by the front porch one morning. Lots of nearby hiking options. The kitchen is sizeable and accommodated some delicious meals.

5/5 Everything nice but starting to show its age. One railing on porch showing decay/rot and needs to be replaced before an accident happens. The screws holding the dishwasher in place are missing allowing the whole unit to to forward when opened.
