  The lower level of this house is really beautiful. There was enough seating and places for us to be comfortable. This is a 3 star rental at best. The rugs are heavily stained and it's unclear if they were actually vacuumed ahead of our stay. The bathrooms were moderately cleaned, there needs to be some attention paid to the floors and grime on the back of doors, and along the strip that borders the shower. The upstairs furnace makes a rattling sound that is loud enough so that I was awakened several times during the night. Enough so that we just turned the upstairs heat off. While it's really nice that most bedrooms have their own bathrooms, one of the showers (in the double) doesn't fully deploy creating weak pressure.

• Spacious house but poorly appointed

  Large house was the perfect size for our family get-together of seven adults, three small children and one infant. 20 minutes to the airport and 30 minutes to Denver's downtown attractions. Nice park with great playground across the street. The negatives: 1) poorly appointed (only two bedrooms have a dresser and only two have a nightstand, only seating for six in the living area); 2) no Pac-n-play despite listed in ad (didn't bring one due to the listing. Called the owner and he was unaware that one was listed and wouldn't help so had to purchase one), 3) Hot water kettle was broken, 4) play structure is badly weathered (kids got splinters) and unstable, 5) generally clean but we had to vacuum and fill the soap dispensers, 6) Not enough kitchenware so had to resort to paper plates, plastic cups and plastic forks, spoons and knives, 6) trash bin was overflowing when we arrived so had to keep our trash bags in the garage until bin was emptied. The bin wasn't placed on the street when the neighbors had on pick-up day, so we did it. Assumed a housekeeping service would have done this but apparently not.
