Definitely recommend this place. The instructions before arrival were very helpful and helped put us at ease. The house is in a good location. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood. The house was clean and in excellent condition.
From the owner: "Thanks for the review. Great information for future guests."
The location is pretty good for access to the Springs, a fairly quiet neighborhood other than the occasional jet flying into Colorado Springs airport. There is plenty of space and comfortable beds. Some repairs are needed and should be noted until fixed. Not show stoppers; I emailed the host about the missing or broken items but never received a response. Later, I noticed that there were a couple of missing smoke alarms. Since I didn't hear back on the first email, I didn't bother notifying him of the alarms as I'm sure he is already aware.

Overall, my family enjoyed the house. My daughter and wife said they would select this property again. It was easy to access in a quiet neighborhood on SE edge of town. Our family of 8 (four adults, four children ages 10-16) found plenty of room to spread out. If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen has everything you need from an abundance of plates and mugs to pots and pans and electric skillet to a drawer full of spices. The kitchen is a bit tight but it packs a punch. If you enjoy coffee, there were at least two Keurigs (one in the master bedroom) and a drip style maker. There was even an espresso.
For slightly negative, we had trouble with HVAC not heating correctly. It was cold for a few days during the last week of March. The host tried to work with us on this. The Smart thermostat was a bit tricky. The weather finally warmed up so the HVAC became a non-issue. Towards the end of the week, the host became non-communicative when I asked some questions. These were not emergency questions, so this issue did not affect our enjoyment of the property. Like I said at the beginning, my family would stay here again when we return to Colorado Springs.
