• Wouldn't stay again

  Unfortunately we would not stay here again. The water tasted awful, very iron-heavy (the owner did refund the cleaning fee to cover drinking water that we had to purchase). We also requested a late checkout, which was originally granted, but the day before checkout, the owner changed her mind. A variety of the windows and blinds were broken and would not open and/or shut. The road the house is on is busier than we expected and cars really speed down the hill. The neighbor's dogs were running off leash around the property- they mostly stayed clear of us, but one kiddo did step in dog poop in the front area by the Adirondack chairs, and we got to witness the dog in the act right in front of us on a second occasion. Finally, despite active management of the windows and blinds that did work, the kitchen area got to be about 80 degrees on multiple afternoons- maybe nice in the winter but not in the summer. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the hot tub was lovely, but that was not enough to outweigh the downsides for us.

We’ve arranged for drinking water service going forward and will also speak with the neighbors regarding their dogs around the property. During warmer months, the home can experience heat gain, and opening the available windows and doors helps create cross-ventilation. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the windows and blinds and will take it into consideration as we continue improving the guest experience.

  Beautiful well maintained home. It was perfect for our family of 6 plus an infant. Had all the essentials that we needed. Owner and property manager were very easy to get ahold of.

  This home has it all and is located in a beautiful spot! From the spice rack to the comfort of each room, we felt at home the entire week+ stay. It's conveniently located, a very short drive or walk to town. Easy access to mountain biking/hiking/skiing trails. Private and perfect.

  Great vacation property - highly recommended! Everything is as pictured and described accurately in the listing. Communication with the contact was great by texting and check-in/check-out very easy. We were a group of 6 and there was plenty of room for everyone, and each couple had their own full bathroom which is something I look for in a rental. The kitchen is very well equipped including a warming oven not listed. I am 5'2 and had no trouble reaching the microwave or wall oven buttons (see other review about this). Pantry is fully stocked despite my having brought a lot of cooking spices etc. for a holiday dinner. Washer/dryer was great for our daily ski gear. Plenty of towels are supplied for the hot tub. Everything was very clean. Beds very comfortable. Short drive to Main Street and to the resort areas. There was a 12+ inch snow storm that blew in the day before our arrival but the driveway was plowed and the exterior is equipped with heated floor mats at the entry, on the deck to access the grill etc, and even to the hot tub which really enhanced our stay in an unexpected way. The garage has plenty of space for one car and ski gear, with a stairway into the house for easy access in any weather. We had a total of 3 cars and had no problem getting in or out of the garage in the shared driveway like the other reviewer claimed. Great place!
