Its got beds, a small Tv, small kitchen, and a few other amenities. We didnt expect snow but we got some on the way up, the home had plenty of space for us to dry off and warm up. Home gets warm quick, so easy on the thermostat.
5 minutes from grocery stores and 10 from downtown. Enjoyed our stay.

Had a really great stay– everything was great about the place! We didn't have the issue with the cleanliness like the other reviews mentioned. Everything was cleaned and the beds were freshly made and all was tidy!
The only weird part was getting a long message from the owner before check-in that was a little inappropriate and threatening. It contained some personal information that seemed unrelated and also had a lengthy paragraph about how the neighbors are quick to call the police for any noises and people have been arrested and put in jail. Here's the last sentence of the very long "welcome" text:
"You, or members of your party, may be inconvenienced by having to return to Truckee for a court appearance and be fined. If you want to party, Reno is only 26 miles away"
A short reminder to remain respectful of the neighbors would have sufficed but that giant paragraph made us feel pretty unwelcome before we got there. We had absolutely no issue with the neighbors. Nonetheless, still had a great weekend at this place and spent quality snow time with friends!
We were a party of 9 (five adults, 4 kids) and this cabin was a comfortable fit for four nights. Beds were roomy and the bunk beds in the loft have been upgraded to queen bunks, which we were pleasantly surprised to see. Plenty of extra blankets, a bookcase full of books, the garage had ping-pong tables, and there were assorted toys/boardgames available. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies, which we appreciated.
The cabin was unfortunately not cleaned prior to our arrival, which the owner stated had not happened in the five years since he had been using this particular house cleaner person. He offered a partial refund for our trouble of having to do a load of wash and make our own beds upon arrival. Though inconvenient and unexpected, this situation did not detract from our overall vacation.
Some things that may be helpful for others to know when booking this cabin:
1. The water heater has a "vacation" setting, this should be dialed to the "normal" setting, so that the water hot. We were not aware of this setting the first night and had lukewarm showers.
2. If you have a large group, ie, more than ~4 people, you may want to bring your own towels. There were only 5-6 towels available in the cabin. The linen cabinet, where presumably extra towels would be kept - is empty.
3. Bring your own shampoo, soap, toiletries for the bathrooms.
Would we stay here again? Yes, the location is excellent to skiing, which we had come here for.

A well loved family cabin. Was great for our small family. All beds seemed relatively new which was a nice surprise. One shower sliding door needed to be fixed. Overall, very comfortable and convenient to town and resorts.
