art and music lover dream
5/5 Easy to access by road in the snow and big enough for private spaces to accommodate a large family and dog. Beautiful secluded wooded back yard leading towards the lake. But extra surprises await in every corner - gorgeous and interesting artwork, chess set, and even a piano in the living room we didn't expect. Our family enjoyed every minute in the space with large group dinners and games. The only thing I could suggest is that some of the personal owner clothing items be moved into cabinets before guests arrive (like ski gloves) so that it isn't confusing with the guest items (they all look the same!)

Stayed with a pet
This beautiful house in Tahoe Vista was a wonderful, peaceful place to get together with our grown children, along with our pup. The home is beautifully decorated and has 2 lovely large porches, one front and one in back, and we were surrounded by woods and the beauty of nature. Lake Tahoe was visible through the trees. There is also a small private porch off the master bedroom. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the living room had plenty of comfortable chairs and sofa space. The open concept living area made everyone feel connected whether they were in the kitchen dining area or living room. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend this property for a family outing.
