  House was nice and roomy, kitchen and dining room area provided comfort and good gathering space for our group. The garage fit 2 cars, no problem. There was enough beds and 4 bathrooms were in good working condition.

  It is conveniently located, close to Lake Tahoe, city center, beach and only few miles to Palisade at Tahoes ski resort.

  One of the bedrooms is a through room, so you can't just close the door and have privacy. The game bedroom was hard to heat up as there are no floor registers and it is located above the garage.

• Nice for large groups

  The house was clean and well stocked. Beds were pretty comfortable. Only issue is there is no AC. If it’s hot take lots of fans!!!!

  Evolve and whomever they use for your contact was why I gave a low score. Very hard to get a hold of and never got back to me after 2 calls and 2 e-mails. I won’t book through them again.

  Hi Deborah, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  -The primary issue was that the guests were using Evolve Messenger instead of contacting the owner directly, causing communication delays.
  -We had several phone conversations with the guests about their requests for early check-in and late checkout. Due to a tight schedule with back-to-back guests, we could not accommodate these requests. We offered to notify them if the cleaning team finished early but could not provide a late departure.
  -On behalf of Evolve, we apologize for the confusion regarding the email sent to the guest about the occupancy exception, which should have been directed to the owner. We have updated the account to reflect the correct owner name, and Evolve has since reached out to the guest after correcting the issue.
  -Regarding the guest's comments about no air conditioning, our listing includes a comprehensive description of all features and amenities. Central air conditioning is not provided, as it is uncommon in Tahoe City homes. We do offer fans in every room, and temperatures generally cool down at night.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to provide our guests with the 5-star experiences we are known for.

  This was the perfect house for our family. We rent every year in Tahoe and I am hoping we can come back next year to this house. Wonderful

  I would say the one thing missing was air conditioning, but got along just fine without it.

  We never had to call the property manager because we had no problems.

• Cannot beat this location!

  We floated the Truckee river one day and did the beach in town another day and guess what....you can walk there! So convenient!

  We came for a 40th birthday weekend with a few friends and their kids. The house was perfect for a gathering, kitchen had everything we needed, backyard was perfect for drinking coffee in the morning and hanging out in the afternoon. It was a hot weekend and warm in the house, but they've provided plenty of fans to help. Communication with the house host was also quick and really helpful!

  I would 100% stay at this house again!
