Heat did not work
2/5 We stayed at this property in early December, and the heat did not work. We woke up the first night and the inside of the home was in the 50s. When we reached out we were told that they thought the issue had been fixed. Over the next two days, they sent out two repair people who told us they could only do a temporary fix, and it would turn back off (which it did) — we flagged the issue to the contact and were told to use more blankets …

Amazing vacay in SoCal
5/5 This is our second time in this rental. It’s in an amazing location, but if you’re looking for super quiet, you should book elsewhere. This apartment is near restaurants and shops and a busy intersection, and the fenced front yard — great for your puppers— doesn’t offer much privacy. But it’s super clean and comfortable, so convenient to beaches in Carlsbad or Oceanside… we had an awesome time and hope to be back!

Nice spot in South O
4/5 Overall, nice spot but didn't have much privacy, it feels like a place run by a decent management company. I grew up in O'side so it feels like a place that is owned by someone disconnected from the community.
The pros:
proximity to beach & food, beautiful yard, decorated well (boho modern), upgraded (remodeled), clean, great shower, comfy bed.
The cons:
terrible lighting (all cool color LEDs) - come on guys, everyone loves warm lighting.
Lots of foot traffic in front of the yard, so our dogs got a lot a stimulation and lots of people oddly will just look into the house/make full eye contact with you when they walk by.
Entry was confusing (VRBO instructions did not match the house manual so we had trouble finding the right lock to gain access, and then we found that 2 of 4 sliders do not lock or have any way to be secured. Not dope.
The toilet paper is single ply.
The Nespresso is a great amenity but literally sounds like a dying jet engine (LOUD).

Girls' getaway
3/5 The property was immaculate. With 3 sleeping locations, it was inconsistent to have only 2 chairs. No live TV and the streaming services wouldn't allow us to use (couldn't connect) until the last day. I needed to use my personal TV subscriber service on my phone to be able to watch anything. No kleenex, 1 ply TP, and an espresso machine that sounded like a plane taking off.
