• LOVE Faithful Oaks!

  Faithful Oaks is truly one of the most special places I have ever stayed! From the moment I arrived, I was completely blown away. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, but what makes it so incredible is how much thought the hosts have put into every single detail. They truly thought of everything you could possibly need to feel comfortable and at home.

  The setting is spectacular. The scenery is breathtaking, and the huge windows throughout the house make you feel completely surrounded by nature even when you are inside. Some of my favorite moments were actually the simplest ones: sitting outside for meals, relaxing around the fire pit, taking in the views, and just hanging out at the house. It is one of those rare places where you genuinely do not feel the need to leave because being there is such an experience in itself.

  Everything felt welcoming, comfortable, peaceful, and beautifully cared for. Faithful Oaks was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Yosemite area, and I found myself wishing I could stay longer. This is absolutely a place I would return to again and again. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Truly unforgettable!!

• A Magical, Peaceful Retreat! We Didn’t Want to Leave!

  Five stars simply aren’t enough for this incredible property! Faithful Oaks is truly a hidden gem and one of the most peaceful, fantastic places we have ever stayed.

  After an unusually hectic and stressful couple of months at work, we arrived completely exhausted and in desperate need of rest and restoration. From the moment we pulled onto the property, we could feel ourselves relaxing. There is something so special about this place. The magnificent old oak trees, birds singing everywhere, the deer in the neighborhood, and the sheer beauty and serenity of the surroundings make it feel like your own private nature sanctuary.

  The home itself is beautiful, spacious, and so thoughtfully designed. The soaring ceilings and enormous windows bring the outdoors inside, and the comfortable living areas invite you to slow down and simply enjoy being there. We loved the spacious kitchen, and the thoughtful welcome treats and delicious Peet’s coffee were such lovely touches!

  We especially loved the wonderful patio, sitting outside surrounded by nature, relaxing in the hammock, and soaking in the hot tub under the trees. The garage game room was such a fun bonus! We had the best time playing Ms. Pac-Man and air hockey. It brought out our competitive sides and gave us some wonderful laughs and memories. There is truly something for everyone, whether you want to play games, explore, read, or just relax and do absolutely nothing.

  The location is also ideal, close to Yosemite, Bass Lake, and the conveniences of Oakhurst, yet the property feels wonderfully secluded and far removed from the busyness of everyday life.

  What made this stay so memorable was how completely relaxed and restored we felt. We spent one day hiking in Yosemite, and another day booked massages under the oak trees by a place the host recommended. We found ourselves not wanting to leave the property!

  We left feeling so much better than when we arrived, and our only regret was not booking a longer stay. We truly did not want to leave!

  Thank you to the wonderful hosts for creating such a special retreat and for all the thoughtful details that made our stay so memorable. We cannot recommend Faithful Oaks highly enough and would return in a heartbeat!

• Loved Faithful Oaks

  We had such a lovely time staying at the Faithful Oaks property. The house was perfect for our party of 6 (2 adults, 4 teenagers). Kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cookware and utensils which made cooking easy. My daughter even baked cookies! The house was in close proximity to grocery stores, Bass Lake and Lewis Creek Trail. A special touch we enjoyed was how all the trees and foliage were labeled. The hot tub was also a great place to relax at night. Our family saw a bear on property which was very exciting. We hope to return and stay here again!

• Wonderful Stay in Oakhurst

  Wow! This was our first family vacation with our 2 and 10 year old boys:) it was so wonderful! The house was perfect, location was convenient, and we were able to go out and enjoy the outdoors in the area. It is so close to the town so grabbing a coffee and breakfast, and doing out to dinner was very convenient. Being so close to Yosemite and Bass Lake made it easy to go see the sights and rent a boat for the day.

  The house was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, including a pack n play and high chair for our toddler. Our boys loved the game room, the loft that was full of books they could read, and running around the huge backyard area. We cooked meals, watched movies, and explored nature around the property.

  We will 100% be coming back and staying here very soon! I’ve already told my friends and family about the house and location!
