• Perfect Place for Groups

  We stayed and the Heritage House of Lakeport the last weekend in April. It was a group of 9 people. 3 couples and 3 adult singles. As a result each family unit had their own bedroom. It was a perfect stage for a weekend get-a-way. The owners have done an amazing job with little details. The coffee/beverage bar is awesome! There is a bean grinder, French press, coffee pot, and a Keurig (with some K-cups provided). They also have a tea kettle with a variety of teas provided. The kitchen is well stocked and the cupboard has labels on them (but very tastefully done), so you can find things fairly easily.

  The place is decorated where vintage meets modern as they celebrate the heritage of the home and its heirlooms, but with a touch of modern conveniences. There are 2 large bathrooms with showers in the house (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) with lots of towel racks and hooks!!! They even label the towel racks by each room name, so that guests don’t get their towels confused. The body wash and shampoo in the showers have a great scent! Not too feminine and not too masculine. There is also a powder bathroom off of the kitchen.

  You can tell the owners care about the details. There are lawn games outside. A place to pull extra propane from and return used propane tanks, and they even give suggestions about how to enjoy yummy milkshakes on your way to library park. There are lots of little nooks to read, play games, do a puzzle, or just have conversation on the porch. They have done a nice job at making things feel homey. Our group is already talking about making this place an annual visit!

  Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home in walking distance to the lake, the downtown city park and all the local stores. It was clean and cozy and had many amenities including a great outside area for children to play on grass. We had a great time playing badminton and just enjoying the beautifully landscaped yard.

• Fun Getaway

  This house was incredible! We came with 2 other couples for a weekend and were not disappointed. We had six bedrooms to choose from and we had a fun time picking out which bedroom we wanted to stay in. Each bedroom had a unique theme/decor style. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need or want, including a coffee station. This house had 2(!) claw foot tubs!

  The outdoor landscaping was beautifully designed and maintained and there was plenty of outdoor seating (including a BBQ). A perfect location steps from the lake and places to eat. This house is perfect for large groups or families.

  We hope to visit again soon.

  I can't say enough about our stay here. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and the kitchen is fully equipped for your stay with every tool you could want. The coffee bar was fun and we appreciated the snacks. Outside is super inviting and you can't wait to sit and have coffee or BBQ. If you're in Lakeport with a group, this is the place you want to stay.

  We had the best time here! The house was clean, cozy and well equipped, and a 5 minute walk from everything downtown.
