Summer getaway
5/5 The property was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed our stay and give it 5/5 stars. I would like to be transparent about one thing I wish I would have clarified with the property owner before making my booking. The listing states no large gatherings or parties - and out of respect of the property owner I wrote and asked if I could have my sisters and parents over for coffee and bagels one of the mornings of my stay - totaling around 10 people in the property at one time. They had a lovely outdoor dining table and plenty of seating and I assumed this wouldn’t be considered a large gathering or party. The property owner declined my request and asked me not to have my family over for breakfast. I respected their decision and did not have any family members over, but I made this booking specifically to come visit family and was a bit disappointed. This is my fault as I did not clarify I would like a few visitors with the property owner before I made my reservation - but I would find it beneficial to let future renters know how strict this rule is.The exact feedback I got was as follows, “ Hi Paige- I appreciate you checking in about having visitors over. Per Evolves insurance & house rules, the property is only for registered guests for insurance, safety, and security reasons. Maybe you can visit with family at their home nearby. I hope you understand, and let me know if you have any other questions.”Thanks!
