5/5 The house was very comfortable, with lovely views and an excellent location. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, too. Sightings of peaceful javelinas were a bonus!

5/5 4/5 We had an absolutely wonderful time and the house was amazing in all ways! Gorgeous views of Thunder Mountain, beautiful and clean beds, linens, and bathrooms. Interior decor was attractive and played off of the natural surroundings. Kitchen was fully stocked and we made use of almost all appliances. We cooked and had ample space to dine, lounge, and take in the scenery from the windows in all rooms. The house was close to downtown attractions and hikes and restaurants. The large family of javelinas (wild boars) caught us off guard and milled around both house entrances, trash cans, and outside hot tub most of our stay. For this reason, we did not take as much advantage of the outdoor spaces (decks and hot tub) as we would have liked. One look at their husks and also being warned by locals to stay away from them, put us a bit on edge. Not being familiar with this type of wild life, we were not comfortable to be in close proximity to them as they scampered across drive and walkways.

We’re looking into natural remedies to help discourage the local javelinas from gathering near the property.
