• Great home and location

  The listing is accurate. The home was very clean, and it has one of the best equipped and stocked kitchens that we have experienced in over 10 years of enjoying vacation rentals. The location was just what we were looking for - far enough from town to enjoy the mesa Verde and pines and close enough to get what we needed for supplies without a hassle. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet. Kids beds worked well for us, and there were plenty of kid-oriented toys and games. 10am checkout was a little early for us due to some activities we had planned. Although we requested 11am, the manager did not allow it.

• Ideal location and plenty of amenities

  Our family of four stayed for a long weekend over spring break. The house was the perfect size for us and our two dogs. Having a fenced yard for the dogs was a plus! Plenty of parking and a great location within walking distance to the Verde River. Everything in the house was in good working condition and well maintained. We will be back!

• We loved our visit at the Forest Cabin!

  The cabin stay felt like a home away from home. You can tell the owners take great care of their property by the comfort level, available staples in the kitchen, clean and decorated very nicely as well as the property itself. And, the view of the mountains facing north and east are gorgeous! Also, it is only a 20 minute drive to Payson!

• Wonderful Father's Day Weekend Getaway

  We had an absolutely fantastic time at this cabin in Payson over Father's Day weekend. The location was perfect with a beautiful, clean stream nearby that really added to the peaceful atmosphere. The cabin itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The whole family was able to relax and enjoy the natural setting.

  One thing that really impressed us was the internet service - it was excellent! Everyone could connect to the WiFi without any problems, and we were able to stream movies with zero interruptions or buffering issues. It's not always easy to find that kind of reliable connectivity in a mountain cabin setting, so this was a huge plus.

  Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and would definitely recommend this place to other families looking for a great getaway spot. The combination of beautiful natural surroundings, cleanliness, and modern amenities made for a perfect balance.
