Wonderful location and great home for our Thanksgiving break
5/5 We spent several days for our Thanksgiving break at this beautiful home. The area is quiet and beautiful, surrounded by pine forests and near a lake. The house is great! We liked the feel of the living room and kitchen area. We used the main bedroom upstairs, and the bed was very comfortable! On the lower floor they have a game room, and we used the ping pong table. We enjoyed the balconies surrounding the house at each floor, as well as the fenced in yard in the back! We recommend it and would visit again if we are in the area.

5/5 We loved our stay! The cabin is awesome and has everything you need. TVs and Wi-Fi worked great! Lots of kitchen supplies to use and a large fridge. Games were fun in the game room. Beware of spiders, you are in the woods so spiders are out and about.

5/5 This place was great. Very accurate listing. We spent most of the time outside but the location was great for noise. Getting stuff into the house required a little work with the stairs but worth it. Plenty of games, tv’s, activities to do inside. Michael was a great host. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet destination
3/5 If you like quiet and remote, this is a good area. Not much to do locally, internet and wi-fi service was sketchy. A 2 hour movie on Prime took 3 hours to watch as the service was constantly spinning up. Loads of DVDs, but no DVD player. They aren't kidding about the stairs and it is quite a climb to get from the road to the house. The kitchen has a good supply of dishes, utensils and cookware. The house wasn't dirty, but it wasn't clean either. Kitchen, bathrooms, and floors were clean on the surfaces. Cabinets could stand a good wipedown inside and out, dusty blinds and quite a few cobwebs. Several boards in the deck seemed soft, and the backyard/tree house could have been tidied up before our arrival. Several used kitchen items around the fire pit and broken toys on the ground and in the tree house. All in all, a nice property, just needs a little maintenance.
